Calculations stay on your device
All calculations run in your web browser. The numbers and expressions you type are not sent to our servers.
Information stored in your browser
The site uses your browser's local storage to remember a few conveniences: your calculation history, scratch notes, light or dark theme, angle mode and the last values you entered in each tool. This information stays on your device. You can remove it at any time by clearing the history in the calculator or clearing your browser's site data.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which can include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and secure.
Third-party services
- Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com).
- The math engine is loaded from cdnjs, a public library network run by Cloudflare.
- When your browser loads these files, those providers receive your IP address and browser information, as described in their own privacy policies.
Cookies, advertising and analytics
We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. If we add advertising or analytics in the future, such as Google AdSense or Google Analytics, we will update this policy before they go live and explain how you can control them.
Children
This site is used by students of all ages. We do not ask for or knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
